Are you familiar with Velata food warming trays ? Well, you should be! Last April, I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate in a small focus group.  In this group we were able to sample the new Velata Warmers and chocolates.  I was so impressed by the amazing quality and taste of the chocolates.  food warming trays I liked them all, but my favorite was the Caramel Milk Chocolate! For my birthday my daughter gave me art on canvas; a tree made from her arm and hand dipped in paint and my grandsons supplied the leaves with their hands. Off to the side is a butterfly using my granddaughters itty bitty feet.
My favorite gifts are the things my son makes me. Even though he is grown up he still blesses me with something he made. Last year it was a portfolio of his drawings food warming trays and paintings from a college design class he took. So far that has been my favorite gift ever.

The best gift I remember giving was when I was a preteen. My family had the opportunity to help out kids with diabetes in another country. My brothers , sister and I all gave the allowance we had been saving for months to buy each others gifts, and donated it all to charity. That was the best gift we recieved too.
The best gift I ever got were all the little gifts my sons would get me every year…I really don’t remember what they were..they were tchotchkes really but they meant the world because they would gather up all their dimes and nickels to buy me a gift & then ever so carefully wrap it up as kids do with lots of paper & tape! :)Good memories!

Last week I had the pleasure of hosting a Ladies Craft Party for some of my crafty convotherm mini girl friends and at that party we all got to try out the Velata Chocolate Warmer and the Carmel Milk Chocolate that came with it! I was first introduced to Velata at SNAP in April when they hosted our first dinner of the conference, which was amazing by the way. They topped off the meal with tons of Velata warmers set out with different chocolates to choose from and tons of options for “dippables”. All the girls flocked to it, myself convotherm mini included.
Velata offers three different types of warmer s to choose from (I chose the glossy Rougue warmer ) along with a variety of chocolate flavors including Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Carmel Milk Chocolate (my personal favorite). The chocolate comes in bags and can be heated up in the bag in one minute and then poured into your warmer! It’s SO easy and mess free!
The other cool thing about these warmers? They come with a silicone dish that sits on top of the warmer that can be reheated when ready or stored in your fridge with your leftover chocolate! Genius! The warmer also is really cool because you can adjust the temperature of your chocolate warmer as needed! Essentially these warmers give you the fun of chocolate fondue convotherm mini without the mess that usually accompanies it!
