The Venkmans I have five boys of Florence and the province who meet in the summer of 2010 to create a new project that will be named in honor of one of the most famous Ghostbusters Peter Venkman. The group has so ', with its first release namesake baked Savonarola at Studio 69 in January 2011; an adult debut already gained by the different sound experiences of individual musicians from different musical backgrounds (The Hacienda, Cage of Candy Floss and In The Flesh). Passed the knot of preconceptions in which we might encounter on the critique of this work because of the musical influences (typically of the channel) that inspired, discover really what the band has endorsed this same crucible of melodies. The three tracks that make up the 'EP, perfectly realized and arranged, they reveal how the group is devoted uihc self service to the British indie scene of the last decade, it still takes its toll and enthusiasts: the rhythmic drum so dear to Franz Ferdinand, uihc self service tense and urgent , the catchy guitar riff in style to the Editors of kitsch synth melodies that have made so famous the Killers. The colors of sound, as well as the colors chosen for the packaging of the work, make the work of the band extremely dynamic and bright. The album runs off rapidly leaving only the desire to hear it again from the beginning, thanks to extremely rousing pieces that involve the listener to the end, without ever passing into the background arrangements never predictable and voice always protagonist. While Rebirth, the first song, seems out of the guitar of Chris Urbanowicz, (Editors) Free and whose gloomy intro echoes the atmosphere of White Lies, I find it just the last track, the disc Juliet the bombshell of the work of Venkmans : a real potential dictated by a single sweeping synth melody that many would envy. I find that the disc is a great start for this band that strongly suggest you see live, to realize energy and melodic accuracy that the various components occur.
