An artist who has not yet been mentioned here on the blog, in spite of numerous requests, thermodynamics steam tables invitations and recommendations - Ethiopian / Canadian Abel Tesfaye with the musical aka The Weeknd. The Weeknd - which incidentally is pronounced more á lá "weakened" than "weekend" - operates in the genre PBR & B; a stylistic alternative to the "normal" R & B genre, the more "modern" production techniques and instruments dominate the soundscape. For Abel Tesfaye began the adventure two years ago, when he put all three mixtapes on the internet for free download. House of Balloons in March, Thursday in August and Echoes of Silence in December. During 2011 and 2012 was The Weeknd from being more or less unknown to be on everyone's radar and being called everything from "R & B'ens heir" to "the next Michael Jackson."

The good thing about The Weeknd and Trilogy ... is first and foremost and obviously his voice - how accurate can he sing! "Wicked Games" is a brilliant example of how a singer can mesmerize his listeners through an entire song with a great vocal performance. "The Morning" which is my personal favorite, is wonderful example of a hell of a catchy chorus that can be heard almost countless times without being boring. "Valeria" is another thermodynamics steam tables highlight, where he sounds unmistakably like Michael Jackson, but also impress with its own sound. And then "High For This" also include, where he impressively tames a blast, electronic high-production with his vocals. Productions of The Weeknd's universe is generally far from the blast and the "big" sound. The main architects of the soundtrack, Doc McKinney and Illangelo, behave in simple, pared productions, which should ideally happen as little as possible and where efficiency must be created by simple effects. Atmospheric keys seems to be the only "must-have", and the good thing about this situation is that the productions never steal focus from the vocals, but back it up with melodic minimalism. Another thing I am quite crazy when it comes to The Weeknd's universe, thermodynamics steam tables how indifferent he is to format. The Weeknd is so blatantly commercial material, and his hits crying out to be heard by millions of people. I love, therefore, thermodynamics steam tables that there are numbers - and in fact many of them - both reach the six, seven and eight minutes of play length, and thereby fails any criteria to be radio material.

The big problem with the texts is that they are indeed not about anything other than sex, drugs and extravagance, and although the lyrics are not bad written, it's just simplistic and repetitive, and Trilogy carrier after all 30 tracks, and it is therefore many minutes having to hear about his nocturnal escapades, which really does not sound so cool back in the long run. I even get almost feel sorry for him when he "Valerie" sings: "I love you, I need you, I only want you / And nobody's going to know if it's thermodynamics steam tables true," if it's sad, I do not know what is ?!
So all in all ... we are dealing with a large album with 30 tracks, thermodynamics steam tables of which there are a good handful of obvious hits, but also a lot of music that find it hard to stand out as something "special", due to the little sexless thread in the productions. Can
