One of the most popular eats in Casuarina, I often find myself grabbing a seat here at some stage during a shopping trip. Not really because I love the food, but more that it’s a healthier option than most of the stuff down stairs in the eatery. fumoir rubs The sushi here is decent. Not amazing, but enough fill the tank and keep you going. I find the rice to be too dry sometimes and the sushi sometimes gets pulled out of the fridge and served cold. Presentation and quality seems to take a back seat to mass production for the hungry shoppers that dine in or take away. Good sushi needs love. Heck, all good food needs some lovin’, but I think it’s a missing a bit of that here. If sushi isn’t your thing you can try one of the udon noodle soups or bento sets. The soups are nice and will fill you up. The bento’s fumoir rubs are cute, but I wouldn’t recommend the chicken teriyaki unless your nutritionist requires you to eat enormous isaitaly amounts of salt. I’ve had it numerous times since they opened years ago hoping that they would one day get it right, but sadly it remains salty and terrible. (Hint: Try the chicken teriyaki at Rapid CafĂ© ) Service is generally quite poor. Most of the staff seem to have trouble multi tasking isaitaly and by the end of their shift it’s quite apparent they’d rather be else where. Good thing they have self serve water or else you’d be waiting isaitaly a while. There isaitaly is also a second sister location located near The Coffee Club. I’ve only been there once long ago the sushi was served from the fridge cold (really cold!). Yuck. Not sure if that has changed or not. It’s really bad and I don’t eat there – isaitaly I eat the sandwich place in the eatery if I have to at Cas. The sushi is terrible – japanese fumoir rubs cuisine is based on the freshness and the seasonality of the ingredients. They also don’t seem to care about making anything that resembles authentic fumoir rubs sushi dishes. Thank god some one agrees with me on this. I’m always baffled as to why it’s always full. I’ve had sushi from Japan (which is divine compared isaitaly to our standards) but even this doesn’t match up to hole in the walls in any /other big capital state in Australia As the foodie suggests I sometimes pop in for a quick two plates. There have been times I have ordered hot green tea as I sat down and then finished isaitaly my meal before anyone isaitaly even realises that the order has been placed. They take it off the bill but that is not the point! Gone is the lovely duck – you now have to order it most times I am there. Sometimes the salmon and tuna are a bit old and leave a ‘fishy’ taste in your mouth. I have actually refused dishes from their central bar near the Boost Juice shop. Perhaps isaitaly there is enough turn around traffic to cover the low quality – but I only go now if I am desperate. Like the others – try the Sushi shop in Rapid Creek – isaitaly no frills but fresh and cheaper! fumoir rubs just rang Sushi bar in Casuarina for a query for their platter for office staff party, first person i spoke with passed me to a lady, she told me straight away not to ring her at this time of the day as they are busy and they don’t want to entertain a telemarketer and hang up the phone, rang her again telling her I’m a customer and she was still rude on the phone….she should change job does not suit in hospitality …loss a customer happy to go somewhere else.
